Metal Keeper Fest 2018

The second edition of Metal Keeper Fest will take place on May 19, 2018.
After the success of last year, it's time to roll up your sleeves and work harder and better, so that the festival lasts for many years and continue to give many joys to the hardy metal fans who expect to see the bands of their youth and new values, nationasl and internationals.
Metal Keeper plows against the tide of recent years as far as festivals are concerned. It tries to be very specific in the genre of music that offers in deterioration of the enlargement of styles looking for the greater number of public pleasing to all.

In this sense, since traditional Heavy Metal has seen an exponential growth both in terms of new bands, big-name returns and younger audience growth, it made perfect sense to create a festival in Portugal that embodies this growth, in line with which already happens in recent years in Europe with a number of renowned festivals completely exhausted every year.

The objective is simple, to bring to our country bands of renown around the traditional Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, NWOBHM (New Wave Of British Heavy Metal), and bands of the called NWOTHM (New Wave Of Traditional Heavy Metal), as well as to give opportunity to the Portuguese bands of this style, so they can share stage and experiences to acquire even more knowledge in an effort to their affirmation and promotion for the rest of Europe and the World.
As a matter of justice, we decided to divide the number of bands equally. In this second edition we will count on the presence of 3 international bands and 3 national bands.
Metal Keeper will be held again at the renovated venue, Another Place, at Cova da Piedade in Almada on May 19, 2018.
The price of the ticket will be 20€ bought in advance and 25€ at the door.
The places of sale to the public as well as the beginning of the sale of the tickets will be announced soon. In a first phase will be available for sale online.
Heavy Metal is strong and it's recommended! Take the vests out of the closet and come and shake their heads like real metal !!!!!
